MACON, Mo. – The Compassus program serving Macon will host a monthly grief support group designed for members of the community who have experienced the death of a loved one. The meetings, which are free and open to the public, will be held on the third Thursday of every month.
When coping with the loss of a loved one, it’s important to remember small steps can result in long strides towards overcoming grief. The goal of the monthly support group is to provide those who are grieving with the comfort and support they need to heal.

Each meeting will give community members the opportunity to learn about how to manage their own grief or help someone they know who is dealing with loss.
